Berlin City Auto Group’sparent company, Summit Automotive Partners had a long working relationship witha creative agency out of Portland, Oregon who had produced their videoadvertising scripts for many years. All three parties were on the hunt for aMaine video production company to bring these scripts to life and we werecontracted. With scripts provided by the Portland, OR agency, we devised aproduction plan and lined up everything necessary to produce eachadvertisement.

The easy campaign waslaunched. We produced commercials that aired throughout New England thatinformed their audience that car shopping with Berlin City Auto Group wassimple and easy. The ads were fun and entertaining making for a memorable,sharable and engaging campaign that stood out from all of the other cardealership advertisements circulating during the campaign run.

PATRA created a customized plan, not just to reach ALCOM’s desired customers and get them excited about their next trailer purchase, but to cultivate long-term relationships. To build those lasting relationships, a brand needs more than just great products – it needs a full-scope approach, using all of the modern tools available to spread the word and keep customers engaged.
Consider a tale of two trailer ad campaigns. Both campaigns had the same budget and focused on snowmobile trailers. The Mission Trailers campaign included trailer model ads with lifestyle footage and a focus on trailer features. The SnoPro Trailers “Made for Legends” campaign focused on an old-school snowmobiler with an appetite for a modern trailer to haul his prized vintage sled. This campaign tapped into late-80s and early-90s nostalgia that had Facebook and Instagram users reminiscing about the good old days of sledding.
The results? Made for Legends generated 150% more ad clicks, 221% more ad shares, and 350% more ad comments than the Mission Trailers campaign! Learning which messages resonate most with ALCOM’s ideal customers is crucial information – and equipped with these stats, PATRA and ALCOM can plan future campaigns with confidence.
Using a similar approach for recruiting ad campaigns, we’ve worked with ALCOM to create an array of ads to deploy in support of their hiring needs at all locations. With funny spots focused on a four-day work week and behind-the-scenes ads giving applicants a glimpse of a future career, video ads are a modern, memorable way to reach the right applicants.
Web
A well-designed website is good, but it needs to do more than look professional on any device’s screen. What is a customer’s journey from stopping to look at a post, to exploring a website, becoming emotionally invested in a product, and reaching out for a dealership quote? We knew it needed to be a seamless process with high quality photos, clear navigation, and easy-to-use information about trailer specifications, features, options, warranty, and more. To create a fully customized solution, we designed the wireframe for each web page for ALCOM’s brand sites from scratch, focusing on all aspects of a visitor’s journey from browsing to buying.
Hubspot Integration
Behind the scenes, we developed and integrated with HubSpot marketing software. Using this all-inclusive solution allows ALCOM to manage contact lists, dealers, leads, sales activities, marketing initiatives, social media, and organic content delivery through the ALCOM blog. With easy-to-use tools, HubSpot helps ALCOM manage all the details.
Hubspot CRM
We tailored the customer relationship management (CRM) system to fit their sales team’s process, conveniently placed lead generation and follow-up in one place, and set up email automation to better serve potential customers. Email marketing for trailer dealers and customers alike is easier than ever, and built-in reporting lets ALCOM identify and focus on initiatives that get results.
Our work with ALCOM supports not only their sales initiatives, but their international dealer network. It all starts with the creation of brand standards – the look and feel that distinguishes each trailer brand from its competitors. Building upon that foundation, our work continues, with projects like:

The Everett J. Prescott family of companies has been a leader in the waterworks industry since 1955. Team EJP supplies the products and services needed to deliver clean water, while also providing solutions for stormwater and wastewater management. For more than half a century, Team EJP has been devoted to taking care of communities through water management, with a core value of providing exceptional customer service.
As Team EJP grew, with business growth generating more paperwork and administration, new challenges arose for the goal of scaling up operations and product offerings while maintaining best-in-class customer service. It was time for an upgrade – time to tap into modern technology and techniques to keep their message fresh in customers’ minds and deliver superior products and service across New England.
Team EJP and PATRA developed a comprehensive, updated approach to their systems, websites, social media, and advertising. We focused on streamlining operations while spreading the message more effectively than ever.
To support business growth and leverage updated technology, PATRA worked with Team EJP to develop internal solutions, including a custom internal portal designed to create efficiency in place of time-consuming tasks.
The first portion of Team EJP’s portal project was a custom CRM solution built for their specific needs and business logic. Team EJP went with a custom solution to best fit their specific requirements. Storage, access, and management of customer information is a crucial need for any thriving business. A custom CRM provided Team EJP’s management staff with better data, and the sales team with better access and organization of customer communication, transactions, leads and more.
In the waterworks industry, every project bid requires a submittal – a package of information including the engineering specifications of every product included in the project plan. Specs are provided by manufacturers and compiled by companies like Team EJP. Compiling this information can be time-consuming when performed by hand. Digitizing the submittal process would save Team EJP hours of work and streamline it into an automated process.
Completion of the submittal system has enabled Team EJP to save time creating, editing, and sending submittals. The system hosts more than [need correct #] products with detailed engineer specifications. It’s a simple, easy to use drag-and-drop submittal editor that stores submittals for future reference in the office or the field.
With Team EJP’s products digitally housed in the submittal system database, it was time to update the product catalog. An extensive product offering means a big catalog. For years, Team EJP relied on a 3” thick printed catalog nicknamed “the reference manual.” While the manual had all the information, it wasn’t keeping up with sales staff, who needed a quicker way to access product data and assist customers. Keeping it updated was a laborious and expensive reprint process.
Building upon Team EJP’s new submittal system database, PATRA also developed an all-new website that includes a full product catalog for instant access. The website also empowers customers to build their own quote online, submit it to Team EJP, and start their waterworks project with confidence, even outside of business operating hours.
Moving to an online catalog and quote system created up-to-date efficiency for Team EJP. Building on this modernized framework, PATRA added new tools that enable Team EJP to compile and print materials at a moment’s notice – from a single-product printable PDF to an entire updated copy of the reference manual with a full index and page numbers. Customers and Team EJP staff all benefit from this easy, streamlined process. With just a few clicks, Team EJP can compile a custom PDF and print the materials they need, when they – or customers – need them.
A great marketing campaign starts with a solid goal. Team EJP gave PATRA a goal: Build an alliance. Create a marketing campaign that not only builds the Team EJP brand, but builds a coalition between company and customers.
To create an alliance, we needed a slogan – a concise, memorable phrase that captured the spirit of Team EJP’s mission. Tasked with our goal to kick-start an industry unifying message, we began workshopping ideas – testing and researching words, phrases and concepts that could take up the mantle for Team EJP. Through this process, we returned to the element that unites Team EJP, their products and services, their vendors and customers – water. Every aspect of Team EJP’s work is focused around the goal of serving communities through water management. In this spirit, a slogan was born: Let’s Move Water.

The “Let’s Move Water” campaign launched internally with Team EJP’s management, then spread company-wide. This allowed the vision to truly take hold organically, providing the buy-in required to spread the message to the public. With Team EJP on board, it was time for a hard launch with the creation of letsmovewater.com

As soon as Let’s Move Water launched, Team EJP started getting messages from publications that wanted to join the alliance! Soon, Let’s Move Water was featured in newsletters, articles, social media and more. As the fight for clean water continues, the importance of how we move that water grows. Team EJP takes that mission to heart – and the Let’s Move Water campaign stands for a promise to uphold their commitment.
